GUIDELINES FOR REVIEWERS
Guidelines for Reviewers
The Eminent Journal of Business and Management (EJBM) focuses on ensuring that published articles meet high standards. Achieving this requires the expertise of reviewers who evaluate submitted papers. The journal employs a peer review policy that mandates at least two reviewers to assess each paper
Peer review mode
The journal uses double blind peer review mode which means reviewers’ information such as names, their affiliations, etc. are not disclosed to the authors. Likewise, authors’ information is not disclosed to the reviewers during and after a peer review process.
Duties of Reviewers
Reviewers have the following duties;
- To adhere to principles of fairness in the review process and avoid discrimination of any form.
- To communicate to the chief editor any conflict of interest discovered before or during the review process.
- To treat all information of papers under review as confidential.
- To disclose to the chief editor any information that may lead to the rejection of a paper due to issues relating to quality and/ or malpractices.

- If a reviewer encounters any potential conflict of interest, they should promptly report it to the Chief Editor.
- Reviews should be conducted fairly and objectively to ensure justice in the review process.
- Provided reviews should aim to enhance the quality of the paper.
- Reviewers may choose to decline to continue with the review process at any time if they encounter any technical or professional challenges. This should be communicated to the Chief Editor promptly.
- To ensure timely completion of the peer review process, reviewers are expected to submit their reviews within the specified timeframe communicated by the Chief Editor.
- Reviewers are required to report to the Chief Editor any instances of malpractice committed by authors as soon as they are identified.
